Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 14 – Official Spoilers, Excitement Builds for a Thrilling Showdown
What To Expect From Boruto’s Latest Battle – Boruto And Naruto Are In Danger
Today, we have the official promo spoiler for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 14, courtesy of V Jump magazine. As the magazine publishes the Boruto chapters each month, let’s jump into the V Jump promotional teaser and see what it says. This month’s teaser serves two purposes: the first is to excite Chapter 14, and the second is to promote Volume 3 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. Due to heavy competition from new volume releases by huge series like Spy x Family and Hunter x Hunter, Boruto is set to debut at number five on the charts in the next few days.
As for the teaser, Chapter 14 is proving even more intense, picking up momentum and driving the story forward with full force. Contrary to what some may have anticipated after the conclusion of Chapter 13 (Prescience), the excitement hasn’t slowed down. Instead, it’s pushing the narrative to new heights, keeping readers on the edge of their seats and eager for what comes next!
The first line of the teaser says that Jura’s target is Naruto Uzumaki. The second line states that Hidarii’s target is Sarada Uchiha. So, right there, we know that both Hidari and Jura are still locked in on their respective targets despite the setbacks they encountered during their first trip to Konoha. Hidarii is still planning to go after Sarada, likely due to being humiliated by Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada during his first attempt to capture her. This is significant because it shows precisely why Boruto wanted to destroy Hidarii in one shot with the Rasengan Uzuhiko – to prevent him from surviving and learning from the attack.
A critical element of Naruto’s lore is still in effect: when you use your ace-in-the-hole jutsu, you must be selective. If you don’t finish your enemy with it, they will have time to reflect on the Jutsu, understand what it was, and make adjustments or counterattacks. In Boruto’s case, Kashin Koji’s ability to use the Ten Direction Shinjutsu to see all possible futures likely revealed the weaknesses of Boruto’s Rasengan Uzuhiko. That probably means there is another vulnerability to this jutsu, aside from Boruto having both feet on the ground to gather chakra for the attack. Boruto’s urgency stems from this, knowing that failing to defeat Hidarii could result in disaster.
Kawaki might have finished off Hidarii, but the Thorn Soul Bulb was returned to Jura, and Hidarii has now been revived, retaining all of his memories. This means he has knowledge of the Rasengan Uzuhiko and can adjust accordingly in future encounters with Boruto. Jura’s target remaining unchanged from Naruto implies two significant things. First, there is still an interest in seeking out Naruto, initially due to his possession of the Nine-Tails chakra. However, Jura’s focus has shifted to Himawari, as she possesses the Nine-Tails power he desires. Even though it belongs to a different version of the Ten-Tails, it’s still a power derived from the Divine Tree.
The fact that Jura hasn’t lost focus on finding Naruto is intriguing. It means Kawaki’s nightmare, which Daemon warned him about, is still in play. These awakened Shinju will continue causing problems for Kawaki in the future. It’s only a matter of time before people hear enemies repeatedly asking, “Where is Naruto Uzumaki?” and start giving Kawaki suspicious looks, just like Daemon predicted.
The following lines in the teaser refer to the threat of the God Tree to Konoha, driven by pure instincts to devour its targets. This part is straightforward, so let’s break it down. Konoha has already been alerted to the existence of the awakened Shinju. They’ve learned that these entities are on a completely different level compared to the Claw Grimes they managed to fight off when Code attacked. Furthermore, they now know that these awakened Shinju are far more potent than anything they’ve faced.
For example, Hidarii, despite being damaged by Sarada’s Chidori, possesses auto-regeneration abilities, making what should have been a mortal wound irrelevant. He’s crafty enough with his Rinnegan to place Claw Marks behind Sarada and Class Rep without either realizing it, allowing him to launch sneak attacks. The speed at which he places these marks is fast enough that even Boruto doesn’t notice until it is too late.
Regarding raw power, Hidarii is out of the league of most shinobi. Despite Konohamaru using the Rasenagan Barrier, which combines the Rasengan’s chakra shape manipulation with Wind Release (a superior element to the Chidori’s Lightning Release), he still got blown back by Hidarii’s attack. This is alarming because it shows that Konohamaru’s attack didn’t make a difference, even with an elemental advantage. Hidarii is so durable that he survived Boruto’s most potent attack, even after Sarada launched him directly into it to increase the damage.
Then there’s Jura, who is so powerful that he knocked Kawaki out cold with a single strike, despite Kawaki’s Karma Seal. This shows that Kawaki and Delta didn’t even consider teaming up against Jura, knowing that even their combined strength wouldn’t be enough. This indicates that things are about to spiral even further out of control.
One major question remains: how does Daemon’s strength compare to Jura? We won’t know until Daemon is allowed to fight at full power. Even Himawari, using Kurama’s chakra with a stronger affinity for it than Naruto, couldn’t damage Jura, which leaves Konoha without a viable counter to him. Konoha is in a precarious position, similar to when Isshiki arrived, and Shikamaru apologized to everyone, knowing there was no solution for dealing with the enemy. The current situation feels just as dire.
There are still two more Shinju out there – Mamushi (the bug Shinju) and Matsuri (whose power is largely unknown). The creation of a fifth Shinju is also underway, and Kashin Koji’s Ten Directions Vision has revealed that even more awakened Shinju are in the making. This means the walls are closing in on the Konoha shinobi faster than ever, and their options are dwindling.
The last point in the teaser is especially troubling. It mentions an attack on Konoha and the use of all shinobi strength to “willow” power. Combined with the earlier statement about the Shinju still seeking out their targets, this opens up the possibility that all the awakened Shinju will converge on Konoha. Kashin Koji’s concerns likely stem from this, not just because his toad was caught, but because Jura might be planning something much bigger.
It seems like Jura is setting more pieces in motion on the chessboard, preparing for something none of us are expecting. Based on this promotional preview, it looks like we’re in for an exciting Chapter 14, with the action continuing to escalate. Even with Boruto’s interrogation looming, the pacing of the time skip so far has been refreshing.
