Boruto vs. Jura: Intense Chapter 22 Spoilers Revealed

Get ready for the moment fans have been dreaming of since Jura first appeared. Letโ€™s dive into the second official spoiler. In it, we see Boruto clashing with Jura, who emerges from a black mark. From the looks of it, this spoiler takes place after the opening sceneโ€”probably around the middle or even toward the end of the chapter.

Now weโ€™re looking at a full-on showdown between Boruto and Jura, and that tells us the key turning point in Borutoโ€™s story is finally here. Clearly, this fight wonโ€™t come without a cost. Kashin Koji did everything he could to prevent this from happening, which says a lot, because this moment could throw off all their carefully laid plans.

Thereโ€™s even a good chance Jura has taken someone hostage, which might explain why Boruto chooses to fight instead of just teleporting to safety. That would make total sense. Also, take a look at the settingโ€”Borutoโ€™s standing on rocky terrain, close to where we saw Matsuri and Konohamaru fight earlier. This confirms weโ€™re still in the same location.

In the spoiler image, we see Boruto land a hit, possibly injuring Juraโ€™s arm, since Jura is shown covering it with his other hand. Then Boruto goes in for another strike, aiming right at the black mark, but Jura manages to block it in time. This clearly shows that the mark enhances both physical power and defense. If you look closely, it even seems like Borutoโ€™s sword cracked from the impact with the mark. That detail alone deserves a deeper look.

It seems like when the marks arenโ€™t being used for teleportation, they act like a shield. Boruto managed to cut Juraโ€™s skin but not the finger with the mark, and that visual feels very intentional. The black mark acts like phantom armorโ€”it both powers up the user and opens up new tactical options.

Whatโ€™s also interesting is that Boruto doesnโ€™t seem to be getting completely overwhelmed by Jura. It kind of looks like heโ€™s got a strategyโ€”maybe even a specific planโ€”to take Jura down. Itโ€™s too early to say for sure, since the scenes are pretty ambiguous, but I really hope this isnโ€™t just Boruto catching Jura off guard. Itโ€™s possible Boruto used the Flying Thunder God Technique to launch a surprise attack.

Still, the scene is absolutely intense. If we connect this spoiler with the last one, itโ€™s obvious the Boruto vs. Jura fight is just beginning, and itโ€™ll probably stretch out over a few chapters. Iโ€™m guessing one of those chapters will end with Kawaki removing his limiters and heading straight for the battlefieldโ€”just like I predicted in my previous blog.

But that raises a big question: how fast can he get there? The fightโ€™s going down in the Land of Wind, and according to the original Naruto lore, the trip takes around three days. So, realistically, Kawaki would need some timeโ€”unless he uses a portal through his Karma. But right now, he canโ€™t sense Boruto from that far away.

My guess? Kawaki will only be able to feel Borutoโ€™s chakra once he removes his limiters. Then, just like Isshiki did with him, he could teleport straight to the fight. Isshiki was able to sense both Kawaki and Naruto, pinpoint their exact location, and appear instantlyโ€”all thanks to the prosthetic Naruto gave Kawaki. That kind of precision teleportation is one of Isshikiโ€™s abilities, and by extension, Kawakiโ€™s.

So, if Kawaki suddenly shows up on the battlefield, itโ€™ll be a huge sign that heโ€™s unlocked a new level of control over Karma. That would blow everyoneโ€™s expectations out of the water. So, in Chapter 22 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, weโ€™ll most likely see the start of the Boruto vs. Jura battle. The two official spoilers line up perfectlyโ€”first Jura appears, then the real clash begins.

I think after that, weโ€™ll probably get a scene of Kawaki removing his limiters, which could serve as the chapterโ€™s cliffhanger. And in the next chapter, we might even see Momoshiki awaken inside Boruto againโ€”just like in the fight against Isshiki in the other dimension, when he suddenly took over and destroyed Sasukeโ€™s Rinnegan. The parallels between these battles are striking, and I think the storyโ€™s headed in a very similar direction.
