Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 14 Spoilers – New Shinju Rise
The cover of the new chapter features Koji Kashin. The second official spoiler is the chapter’s ending. This chapter has a lot of dialogue, but let’s go step by step.
Having Koji Kashin on the cover immediately adds intrigue. In previous chapters, he played a key role in the plot and obtained a new Shinjutsu, making his appearance on the cover highly symbolic.
The chapter begins with Boruto sitting in a chair, with Ibiki and Konohamaru in the same room, similar to the scene where Amado defected to the Leaf. Then, we see a page where Sakura is healing Inojin. Ino seems to be very worried about Inojin, and we also see two elders and Amado. Shikamaru is observing the situation in the interrogation room. Meanwhile, Eida, Daemon, and Kawaki are talking about something.
This chapter has a lot of dialogue that’s important for the plot development, though it might slow down the pacing. The details of the conversations aren’t obvious yet due to the lack of detailed spoilers. Of course, Boruto is being interrogated, and he and Amado discuss the Otsutsuki, Jūra, the Tree, and other topics. Continuing the Otsutsuki, Jura, and Tree themes are central to the chapter’s storyline. This creates a strong dynamic between Boruto and Amado, crucial for plot development and the universe’s expansion. The interrogation theme highlights the tension and danger for Boruto.
I also suspect that after this conversation, Amado will realize that Kawaki is truly Kawaki and not who everyone believes he is. Most likely, Eida has rewritten everyone’s memories. Amado knows what Eida is capable of and that Shinjutsu can reveal themselves over time.
The elders, Ibiki and Konohamaru, discuss the situation, while Shikamaru simply watches everyone. Meanwhile, Eida is spying on them using her Senrigan. Eida actively monitors the situation and emphasizes her crucial role in overseeing events. This reinforces the sense that everything is under control but also raises concern since she can intervene at any moment. It shows that Eida wants to know everything and is afraid of something. Her presence as a powerful observer makes her seem all-seeing but not omnipotent, adding tension.
During the interrogation, Ibiki slams Boruto’s face onto the table, causing him to bleed. Then, Ibiki punches Boruto in the stomach. Shikamaru and Ino appear to be communicating using her mind communication jutsu. The violent scenes from Ibiki add even more tension. Interrogations like this in Naruto are often used to reveal emotional depth in the characters. Ibiki looks rather brutal in this case, raising the stakes for Boruto.
Shikamaru allows Mitsuki to enter the interrogation room. Mitsuki enters Sage Mode and pretends to attack Boruto. He uses a snake to remove Boruto’s handcuffs, and Boruto escapes using the Flying Thunder God technique. Boruto teleports to a room to grab his cloak and sword and then teleports again to a safe location. It’s an exciting move—Mitsuki pretends to attack Boruto to help him escape. This highlights that his allies haven’t forgotten about him and are willing to take risks to save him, even under Eida’s technique. The fake attack underscores their alliance and readiness to risk their lives for a friend.
However, it’s worth considering how this escape will affect the future dynamics of the story—how Shikamaru and others will react and how it will change the relationship between allies and enemies.
In Hokage’s office, Sarada and Sumire talk to Shikamaru. Then, Kankuro speaks with him. At the end, we see the appearance of a new Shinju, number five. His name is Ryu, but don’t think of “DRAGON,” as his name is written with a unique character meaning “seed” or “particle.” Upon Ryu’s appearance, Jura says: “You’ve woken up. How do you feel, Ryu?”
Ryu’s appearance speaks to his immense power. It’s immediately clear that he possesses great physical strength and will be responsible for massive destruction in the future. I dread to imagine what he’s capable of in berserk mode when enraged and what abilities he might have. And as I mentioned earlier, this Shinju is unlikely to be Gaara’s son. The chapter ends here. While his introduction is intriguing, more context or backstory could have been added to increase his significance in the plot.
