In chapter 7 of Boruto Naruto Next Generations Manga, Boruto and his teammate reach an unknown place that is dominated by the presence of God trees. This manga series shows a dramatic confrontation that blends the new generation’s struggles with the legacy of the old. In this chapter, there is a lot of action between the Otsutsuki clan members and the new alliance of Boruto Uzumaki Team. The chapter begins with Momoshiki extracting Kurama’s chakra from Naruto. The process is lengthy due to the immense amount of chakra Naruto possesses. As Naruto is the seventh Hokage and the strongest Shinobi, it will not be easy for Momoshiki to extract Kurama and defeat him.
I am most curious about whether the story is canon, the Boruto movie, or the Boruto manga because there are some key differences right here. The overall story is still the same, with Naruto being kidnapped by Momoshiki and Kinshiki. Boruto, with Sasuke and the other Hokage, arrives to save the day, which leads to a ton of action. The new Hokage totally shows off their skills in this week’s chapter. They all get to do something really cool, and I especially love it when they actually combine all of their techniques. In fact, I would say that one of my favorite scenes from this chapter was when Gaara was creating these platforms out of sand which allowed them to jump from them one to one so that he could attack Kinshiki and Momoshiki.
Even Darui and Chojuro were amazing in this chapter. Chojuro, in particular I am always a big fan of a big punch. Did you guys read that scene where Sasuke’s sword stuck at Kinshiki? What made this one so unique where Momoshiki had actually transformed Kinshiki’s body into fruit, eaten him alive, and then transformed into this demonic form. I love the design of it. If there was ever to be a real, true final villain of the Naruto series, it should have been Momoshiki. It should have been him in this form because he looks awesome not only is the design of the monster, but it takes it to the next level. I love the fact that he has black chakra, which is sort of constantly going all over his body slowly reaching up to his skin. He still has the Rinnegan in his palms, but it is his face that really starts to look different. Of course, he has the Rinnegan on his forehead. He has long flowing hair and these massive pointed horns which just make him way more threatening. It is the real reason to check out this week’s chapter 7 of Boruto Naruto’s Next Generations Manga. It blew me away with how incredible it looked, in fact. I would say this was probably the best chapter of the Boruto Manga Series. The fact that the action was super fast, superfluid, and actually competed a little bit with the movie, and that’s saying a lot. You are still going to see the black chakra slowly reaching up his body and covering his head. It is like dripping down the super long flowing hair in those horns. It is just so metal-looking, and I love it.
The arrival of Chojuro and Darui, swords drawn, shifts the dynamics. Their presence is attributed to Sasuke’s Rinnegan abilities. Boruto is determined, and he is cutting the branches of the God Tree, which helps Naruto to get free. All new Shinobi collaborate, especially Gara and Kurotscuhi. Here, we see father and son interaction when Naruto notices Boruto wearing his old clothes. That symbolizes Boruto’s step into his father’s legacy and sparks a heartfelt conversation in which Naruto apologizes for their strained relationship. Boruto’s request to hear stories of Naruto’s past signifies a desire to understand and connect with his father.
The chapter features a fierce battle between the Shinobi and their powerful adversaries, Momoshiki and Kinshiki. Sasuke’s engagement with Kinshiki showcases tactical brilliance, especially when Chojuro and Kurotsuchi join the fray, leveraging their unique abilities to subdue Kinshiki. Gaara’s support with sand platforms aids Darui’s offensive against Momoshiki, demonstrating effective teamwork and strategy. Naruto prepares to join the fight, but Boruto warns him about Momoshiki’s ability to nullify ninjutsu, underscoring the importance of adapting their strategy. Sasuke’s analysis of Momoshiki’s absorption technique, likening it to the Kote, is pivotal. It highlights the evolving understanding of their enemy’s powers. A critical turning point occurs in this chapter of Boruto Naruto Next Generations Manga when Momoshiki consumes Kinshiki, transforming and gaining a third Rinnegan on his forehead. This transformation signifies an escalation in threat level and foreshadows a challenging battle ahead.
